This new venture needs interested community members to join. Thursday 5th November Lyonville CFA Fire Ready Victoria Meeting and BBQ were held at the Lyonville Hall with a good turn out of of about 40 - 50 people. It will be available from this web site, the town noticeboard, via email and some home delivery. Monday 20 July 2009 - Community Plan meeting. On Monday evening, a crowd of locals met at the Radio Springs Hotel to test the capacity of the pizza oven, and to begin discussion for a Community Plan. The dinner was sponsored by Hepburn Council and facilitated by the Community Planning Liaison Officer, Sue Moses and Lyonville resident, Jules Berzin. The aim of planning is to clarify what things we'd like to look after, establish or improve. A set of recommendations were prioritised, and working groups identified. (PDF) |
